D. J. Pierre Loving moved to the Bay Area 30 years ago from Omaha, Nebraska. She attended Mills College and received her BA degree in 1977. She was awarded a scholarship to the University of Iowa, College of Law and two years later, graduated with a Juris Doctor degree. A decided entrepreneur from a very young age, Pierre engaged in a private legal practice. Her practice brought her in contact with real estate investors and developers and she immediately took a liking to the business of real estate.

Her enjoyment of handling real estate transactions for developers and investors led her to obtain her brokers license in 1998 and shortly thereafter she closed her law practice and founded Loving Properties.

Loving Properties is a privately held firm that represents Sellers, Buyers and Investors. Loving Properties serves all sectors of the home buying and selling market-from first time buyers to listing and selling multi-million dollar estates. Pierre has special training and knowledge marketing high-end properties. In addition, Pierre lists and sells commercial properties.

Despite her diverse interests and prior positions…. in addition to practicing law, Pierre has worked as a private Mediator and Arbitrator, taught Community Law at a local Community College, Syndicated Thoroughbred Racehorses and represented Jazz Artists in contract negotiations…she always returns to her love of being involved in real estate transactions. Negotiating deals is a natural for her.

Pierre believes that one of the keys to success is a continually updated education. She takes many courses and seminars to increase her effectiveness and stays abreast of changes in the real estate industry. She is currently a candidate for the prestigious real estate professional designation of CCIM.
